Brothers,
I would like to start by telling you a story about a well known man, Thomas Edison.
Thomas Edison was both hearing impaired and fidgety. He only lasted three months in school where his teachers said he was "too stupid to learn anything." He eventually was home schooled by his mom. In talking about his invention of the light bulb, he said:
“I have not failed. I have just found 10,000 ways that does not work.”
- Thomas Edison
We often fail before we succeed; failure is not a bad thing as long as you learn from it.
February was another busy month we raised two brothers to the Degree of Fellow Craft and vote on two new petitions to receive the rights and benefits. Things are also starting to take shape in the planning of our joined Table Lodge, which is scheduled for October. So be on the look out for tickets, which will go on sale soon.
March Madness is upon us. We have our ladies night schedules for Saturday, March 22nd at the Sprecher Brewery Restaurant. Our stated meeting will be held on March 27th where we will be initiating a number of Enter Apprentices. Also on March 29th we will be raising two Brothers to Master Mason.
Lastly I would like to ask a favor of all of you, Get Involved!! Or success is gained thorough the efforts of our members, we have a ton of things happening. Contact me to see where you can help or how you can be apart of the effort toward success.
Thank You.
Sean Smith - Worshipful Master
