Aloha'aha'a!
And a humble howdy-do to the members of this esteemed Lodge. My name is Micah Ana, and I'm interested in Joining your fine brotherhood. I was referred to your particular congregation when it was discovered that I work with a couple of the members already in your wings.
I understand that there are two main tenets required for initiation. I've always styled myself as agnostic. God may or may not exist, but the likelihood of somebody preaching to me of the existence of one, would not be convincing. However. In my musings and silent study, it turns out, the question leading to greater truth was not, "does God exist?", but "What is the definition of God?" So, to answer that first Tenet, yes. I do believe in a higher authority/diety/God.
Character. I'm not perfect. I don't judge people, as I care not for them to judge me. I've had some past run ins with object circumstance that forced and influenced some of my careless decisions. My youth as well as my first marriage was full of trials that I know now of how miserably I failed those tests. I would love to say I have no regrets, but wisdom dictates those regrets are what ultimately make us a better person. Without an Agent of bad-will, how would we recognize, let alone define, the agent of Good: The nature of half the whole. To answer the question more specifically, no I do not have any felonies on my record.
Those were the two main articles posed to me when I first inquired.
Lastly, the reason I came to be at this doorstep is a recognition of a vestige of truth instilled in your order. I'm not sure what exactly it is, but it beckons to be understood. Said another way... I come to learn.
If you've read the whole of my introduction, thank you for taking the time. If there's anything else I can answer or clarify, by all means ask away.
Thank you for your Consideration.
